CrimeCenter Software to Sponsor IHIA Investigators Course
CrimeCenter Software, a cloud-based case management platform for police and law enforcement agencies, will sponsor the International Homicide Investigators Association (IHIA) Regional Training Event in Buffalo, New York on June 4 at 1:00 PM ET.
“This past year, we’ve gained a lot of insight on the pain points and needs of investigators through our sponsorship and attendance at these IHIA events. So, we’re looking forward to sponsoring the course in Buffalo and providing a valuable opportunity for participants to learn more about using intelligence data to advance the investigative process,” said Mike Cunningham, operations manager, CrimeCenter Software. Participants are offered a no risk opportunity to use CrimeCenter as a pilot project for 90 days to learn first-hand how streamlining case management can improve clearance rates. “In this day and age, it’s key to train law enforcement professionals with the technology that helps them work smarter. For example, our cloud-based intelligence software can provide them with more data-driven decision-making power to manage tips and counteract threats and gang activity, and then leverage that information in a violent crime investigation. The applications are endless – and simpler than ever thanks to our software.”
The IHIA offers advanced training that provides law enforcement professionals with a wide range of disciplines. Topics to be addressed in the Homicide Investigation/Violent Crimes Course include exploitation of digital evidence, identifying unknowns and evaluating serial crime scenes. The course will be taught by various members of the FBI.
